Vlad stands for Vagrant LAMP with Ansible and Drupal and is a development environment that is easy to setup and has a number of features that make it useful for Drupal projects.

Vlad is designed to be a stand alone environment that provides all of the tools you need to develop Drupal sites as well as being flexable enough for you to set it up exactly how you need it.

  • Drush extensions: Site Audit & Registry Rebuild
  • Munin

  • Solr (Version 4)
  • Node.js
  • ImageMagick
  • PimpMyLog

Many of these items can be turned on and off via a settings file.

Using Vlad

Before running Vlad you need to ensure that you have installed the necessary prerequisites. More info on this can be found on the installation guide.
